More than 60,000 passengers have already gone before you! The Waal tours in September are organized as part of Open Monument Day.

In cooperation with the Gelderlander, the Pancake Boat organizes Waal tours about the area development near Nijmegen. City editor Rob Jaspers explains the many projects around the Waal, such as:
- the construction of the Spiegelwaal near Lent
- the extension of the old Waal bridge
- the modification of the sheet piling
- the construction of a new quay wall
- the renewal of the Waalfront-West
- the redevelopment of the nature of the City Swamp
- the modifications in the floodplain of Beuningen

Drinks, pancakes, apple pie and other snacks will be available during the cruise (not included). A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity.
