Departure Location & Parking

The departure location of the Pancake Boat is Waalkade across from the Holland Casino in Nijmegen.

By car:

There are no parking facilities on the Waalkade. The nearest parking garages are Kelfkensbos and Eiermarkt. Both garages are within walking distance of the Waalkade. You walk via the Veerpoort stairs next to the Holland Casino to the Waalkade. You can also use the elevator next to it. On the Waalkade there is a Kiss & Ride zone near the Pancake Boat where you can let passengers get off and then park the car in a parking garage.

By public transportation:

At Nijmegen Station you can take a bus to the Waalkade stop (lines 2, 8, 13, 14, 15, 33, 80, 300 and 331). From this stop you can walk to the Pancake Boat in a few minutes. From Nijmegen Station you can walk through the city center to the Waalkade in about 20 minutes.

We recommend leaving home on time due to heavy traffic. You should be on board 15 minutes before departure. The boat leaves on time and the captain unfortunately cannot wait for you.
